In order for a horse to be healthy in body AND mind, they need to be used.  They need:

LOTS OF HOURS of training,

LOTS OF MILES in the saddle, and

And a Little Piney Ranch Horses, that's exactly what they get.  We put our 20+ years of experience into offering for sale the best ranch horses available.  Whether you're in the livestock business OR simply need a horse that is sound and gentle (as well as good to look at !), Little Piney Ranch Horses will have a horse that works for you.

Our family focuses on raising and training horses with performance and working horse bloodlines.  But we also offer experienced ranch geldings perfect for a day of trail riding in the mountains or even on the beach!

You're always welcome to visit us at our headquarters in Banner, Wyoming (30 miles south of Sheridan on Interstate 90).  We can also make deliveries.   Take a minute to learn more about us and what we currently have available.

NOBODY understands the joy of riding a good horse (or the frustration of riding a bad one!) better than a COWBOY.  If you've ever had a bad day on a horse, you'll know that it's not an experience you'd want to share with anyone else!  That's why Little Piney Ranch Horses will make every effort to ensure that the horse you buy from us is exactly what you want.

If you're an experienced rider, then we have freshly started colts ready for you to finish and turn into the performance horse that you need.  We offer you bloodlines that we appreciate.  Horses that can cut, rope, and work cattle.   It's our goal to never sell a horse that we wouldn't want to ride ourselves.

If you need an experienced horse to help you learn the basics, then we have a horse for you as well.  Probably the best teacher, when it comes to learning the basics about horsemanship, is a sound and experienced horse.  All the clinics in the world aren't going to help if you start your day stepping into the stirrup of a horse that's "sour."  It's also our goal to customize horses to people, and we will do all that we can to make sure that your step into the "horse world" is a positive one.

There's nothing that we love as much as our family, AND the joy of riding a good horse.  We hope you'll give us an opportunity to share our experience in helping you find a horse that fits your needs.

Give us a call and we'll talk horses.  Or stop by the headquarters any time and see what horses we're working.

God Bless,

Brenton & Lisa Moore
